Two suspects arrested for Bronx lounge shooting that killed one, wounded three

Two suspects have been arrested for a shooting outside a Bronx lounge that killed a 34-year-old man and wounded three others, cops said Wednesday.

Estharlin Rivera and Franklin Vicioso have both been charged in connection to the 2:40 a.m. Monday shooting at the Kama Restaurant & Lounge on E. Burnside Ave. near Anthony Ave. — but neither are accused of killing Vlademir Perdoromo.

Rivera, 32, was charged with reckless endangerment and weapon possession on Monday, about 20 hours after the shooting. Vicioso, 23, was arrested the next day and charged with attempted murder, assault and weapon possession.

The man who shot Perdoromo is still on the loose, police sources said.

An argument inside the club quickly escalated into a fight and then gunshots.

Nearby resident Robert Patey, 54, heard four or five shots.

“I thought it could have been fireworks,” he said. “I didn’t think anything of it, really. I’ve lived in the city my whole life.”

Perdoromo, shot in the upper body, was rushed by medics to St. Barnabas Hospital but he could not be saved.

A 23-year-old man blasted in the leg and a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the foot were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

A fourth victim, shot in the back, made his way by private means to Montefiore Hospital, where he was also in stable condition, cops said.

Responding officers recovered a gun and two shell casings from the scene.

Perdoromo lived about 3 miles from the lounge. Police sources said he was linked to a gang and had three sealed arrests for weapons possession, robbery and drug possession.

The two suspects each live just a few blocks from the club, police said.
