These Two Face Oils Completely Transformed My Dry Skin in Just One Week

You know what? I'm just going to say it: I don't like fall.

Apologies to whoever I've offended with that statement, but you've got to understand that I'm just someone who prefers her leaves to be green, doesn't necessarily like pumpkin spice in... everything, and would rather go outside without wearing a jacket. However, since I live on the east coast, by the time the end of September rolls around, I have to just accept the inevitable and suck it up.

But there is one thing about fall that I refuse to tolerate: the patches of dry, flaky skin that show up on my face year after year.

Usually, I'd just slather on a rich cream and call it a day. But with, you know, the stress of living through a literal health pandemic, mixed with spending more time indoors than usual during quarantine, and having to go extra hard with my routine to combat maskne, my skin has been feeling extra thirsty this fall.

So when my package from nyakio came in the mail with the Maracuja & Yangu Rescue Oil along with the Manketti & Mafura Anti-Aging Oil, I had to take a second to thank the heavens above.

Before I start gushing about these products, let me just say I'm typically not a fan of face oils.

I generally find them to be too much, and they often end up feeling sticky or clammy on my skin. But nyakio's are just enough for me, and neither leave any type of residue behind (thank God).

Now let's get into the good stuff.

The Rescue Oil boasts a beautiful blend of oils to help soothe and calm stressed out skin. In the formula you'll find safflower oil to combat dryness, along with maracuja and yangu oils, both of which are high in unsaturated fatty acids to create a gentle barrier on the skin.

On the other hand, the Anti-Aging Oil features manketti and mafura oils from South Africa to help soften the skin and smooth out rough texture.

You can use either product two times a day, but because I'm greedy and want it all, I apply the Rescue Oil in the morning and the anti-aging joint at night. Using these two oils has left my skin in perfect harmony and given me back that summer softness after just one week.

Shop now, tomorrow, and always.

On top of the million and one benefits of each oil, both formulas are also certified organic, vegan, and free of formaldehyde, petroleum, parabens, phthalates, and sulfates.

Oh, and one more plus: you can pick them up on your next Target run.

So I'll just go ahead and say, "you're welcome."

Good to Go used to be the column where we'd share the beauty products we can't travel without. But while travel's off the table, we'll be focusing on products that make us feel good in quarantine. This month, why I'm obsessed with nyakio's Manketti & Mafura Anti-Aging and Maracuja & Yangu Rescue Oils for fall.
