Twitter’s and Rihanna’s Reactions to Lizzo’s BET Awards Performance Will Give You Life

• Lizzo owned her performance at the 2019 BET Awards last night.

• Safe to say that Rihanna and Twitter approved of her singing, twerking, and flute skills.

In case ya haven’t noticed, Lizzo is having the best year ever. Her new album, Cuz I Love You, dropped in April; she owned the Met Gala’s camp theme; and THE Elton John said her name, which she then turned into a never-ending loop of greatness. Last night, Lizzo continued her winning streak with the best performance at the BET Awards and it is literally the best thing you’ll watch in your whole entire life.

Lizzo started her performance on top of a giant wedding cake stage before tearing off her veil and skirt to reveal the coolest all-white bodysuit. And once she stepped off the cake and down toward the audience, she started twerking and playing the flute, as she’s known to do during her sets. Her performance was legit so good that it got Rihanna out of her seat and clapping for the “Truth Hurts” singer, as if agreeing that she is indeed “100 percent THAT b*tch.”
