The flame has been lit atop of the Olympic Stadium in PyeongChang, South Korea, and the 2018 Winter Olympics are officially underway.

And as the iconic flame was lit during the Opening Ceremony, viewers at home had plenty of ideas as to what the burning cauldron looked like.
The lighting itself was reminiscent of the 1990s cartoon series Dragon Ball Z.

The torch itself looked a lot like an Easton baseball bat.

The cauldron does looked similar to a water tower or a giant tooth, as many on Twitter pointed out.
The Olympic torch kind of looks like a molar. #OpeningCeremonies #Olympics2018 #olympics

But perhaps the best comparison likens the Olympic cauldron to Syndrome’s robot from the 2004 movie The Incredibles.

This isn’t the first Olympic cauldron has been compared to something else. Many thought that the cauldron back at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece, looked a lot like a joint.
