Twitter Is Obsessed With This Husband Rapping His Wife's Fenty Beauty Tutorial
It's easy for YouTube beauty videos to become redundant, but then there are folks like Kathlyn Celeste who find a way to make sitting through makeup tutorials exciting again.
Instead of following the typical video formula of using elevator music as soundtrack to a makeup tutorial, Kathlyn enlisted her husband, Sean, who goes by the name of Cru Alxndr, to create a #RapTorial—a rap voice-over for a tutorial—showcasing Fenty Beauty products. Rapping over an instrumental of Ariana Grande's "7 Rings," Cru breaks down each and every step of Kathlyn's Fenty Beauty makeup routine.
"Precision Sponge, you ain't basic or average/You on top like you stay in the attic/Love yourself, you should make it a habit/ Do it well, girl, blend it and pat it," he raps as Kathlyn presses the Pro Filt'r Foundation in 310 into her skin while rapping along to her husband's lyrics.
The video came out earlier this year, but recently went viral on Twitter with fans praising the couple for their unique video concept.

"Girl, you know your beauty speaks for itself/God made you perfect don't need no one else/Just know your beauty only comes from within/Don't need to battle, you already win," he raps during the breakdown at the end of the song.
"We worked really hard on this one guys! Took us 5 days to finish & Sean stayed up until 4AM most days editing," Kathlyn explained in the description box of the video. The mother of two first launched her #RapTorial series in April 2018 when Fenty Beauty released its Body Lava collection with Cru rapping over N.E.R.D's "Lemon." Given the overwhelming response to the Fenty Beauty #RapTorial, Kathlyn returned with a video using E.L.F. products.
