Fans of tennis great Serena Williams are recreating the athlete’s iconic victory celebration as she plays in what will possibly be her last US Open.

Williams is known for waving to the crowd and doing a twirl on the court following a win.

Grand Slam officials have encouraged fans to recreate the move in honor of the 23-time Grand Slam champion, using the hashtag #TwirlForSerena.

This footage shows fan Lauren Amanda paying tribute to Williams, in video posted on the date the athlete defeated No 2 seed Anett Kontaveit.
