Celebrities have access to all sorts of things that plebs do not, from elite trainers to personal chefs. But fit mom (and Redbook's November cover star!) Carrie Underwood has generously granted the Internet access to take part of her very own (vegan) Canadian Thanksgiving-themed workout created by trainer Eve Overland. Now you, too, can work out like a star in your very own living room!
But be warned: This workout - which she says is a finisher (meaning, she did another whole workout before it) looks tough as all hell, and will almost definitely make you want to scarf down some pie, whether you're celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving or simply waiting for the American holiday. It includes tons of plyometrics and challenging moves, from frog hops to tuck jumps to renegade rows. What's more, each move is performed for ten reps. And in an almost inhumane (yet probably super worth it) form of punishment, she wrote that you do the whole routine - posted below - ten. Times.
But even Carrie conceded that she didn't finish the workout, though she blamed it on a lack of time.
"It was meant to be done 10 times (10 reps of each exercise)," she wrote, "but we only made it to 6 because I ran out of time (and 2 hours of working out is enough)."
And don't worry, she knows that celebrating burpees with an enthusiastic 'yay!' is not something that most people do.
"I love that it's 'Tofurkey' and the last one is 'Yay burpees!" She wrote. "Nobody ever says 'Yay burpees!'"
Truer words have never been spoken.
