First up: the cereal box hack. I wanted to try this out because it brought me back to my childhood. Growing up, my sister would use popcorn bowls instead of traditional bowls for cereal! I thought this would be a fun replacement, where she could still eat the same amount of cereal without having to do the dishes. While this is indeed a hack, it may not be the most practical if you don't plan on eating a whole box of cereal in one sitting. But hey, I know there's someone out there with the appetite to crush it.
2. Ritz Cracker & Cheese Hack
I was today years old when I found out that the edges on Ritz crackers actually serve a purpose. Cheese and crackers are a staple snack when you're hosting friends, so prepare to have this food hack serve as your next party trick. Your friends will be amazed to see you using the edges of the cracker like a knife to cut the cheese. It. Is. Like. Magic. This hack is such a fun spin on popcorn. It's crazy how one ingredient can really elevate a classic snack. This method is simple: Just add skittles soaked in olive oil to your skillet of popcorn kernels, and BAM, you instantly give your everyday popcorn a bit more pizazz. The great thing about this hack is that you can change out the skittles for any other candy of your choice. This was the hack I was most excited to try mainly because chocolate chip cookies are my favorite thing to eat...and also who doesn't want to carve into a pint of ice cream? I regret to inform you that I butchered this hack! I thought it was a good idea to take the ice cream out of the freezer to make it easier to cut into. Let me tell you—this was a bad idea. However, if you have a solid ice cream pint, this hack really does help you achieve the perfect ice cream sandwich. It also gives you an excuse to finish a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting.
