I dug through TikTok to find six of the most viral food hacks and tricks. Find out below if they'll really change your life—or just make you question everything.

1. Cereal Box Hack

First up: the cereal box hack. I wanted to try this out because it brought me back to my childhood. Growing up, my sister would use popcorn bowls instead of traditional bowls for cereal! I thought this would be a fun replacement, where she could still eat the same amount of cereal without having to do the dishes. While this is indeed a hack, it may not be the most practical if you don't plan on eating a whole box of cereal in one sitting. But hey, I know there's someone out there with the appetite to crush it.

2. Ritz Cracker & Cheese Hack

I was today years old when I found out that the edges on Ritz crackers actually serve a purpose. Cheese and crackers are a staple snack when you're hosting friends, so prepare to have this food hack serve as your next party trick. Your friends will be amazed to see you using the edges of the cracker like a knife to cut the cheese. It. Is. Like. Magic. Let's be real, it might be easier just to break the cheese in half with your hands, so you won't be using this hack on a day-to-day basis, but it's a nice trick to have up your sleeve for special occasions.

3. Quesadilla Toaster Hack

This hack is truly a game-changer! I don't know about you but sometimes I get so hungry that I can't be bothered with the time it takes to prepare my food. That's why cheese quesadillas are a popular item in my household because they take less than five minutes to cook. However this hack, dubbed the "Toasterdilla," takes less than two minutes—SAY WHAT?! Imagine my delight when I found the fastest way to make a quesadilla without compromising the crispy tortilla and the gooey cheese on the inside. Watch the video above to see how to make it. Your life will be forever changed.

4. Starbucks Hack

Let's be honest—this hack is pretty straightforward. If you ask for no ice, you're going to get more coffee...more bang for your buck! This is a hack, for now. Starbucks employees have shared with us that they are onto this hack, so don't be surprised if they decide to charge you extra in the future.

5. Skittles Popcorn Hack

This hack is such a fun spin on popcorn. It's crazy how one ingredient can really elevate a classic snack. This method is simple: Just add skittles soaked in olive oil to your skillet of popcorn kernels, and BAM, you instantly give your everyday popcorn a bit more pizazz. The great thing about this hack is that you can change out the skittles for any other candy of your choice. I was nervous that the texture of popcorn would become soggy or chewy, but to my surprise, it stayed true to its form.

6. Ice Cream Sandwich Hack

This was the hack I was most excited to try mainly because chocolate chip cookies are my favorite thing to eat...and also who doesn't want to carve into a pint of ice cream? I regret to inform you that I butchered this hack! I thought it was a good idea to take the ice cream out of the freezer to make it easier to cut into. Let me tell you—this was a bad idea. However, if you have a solid ice cream pint, this hack really does help you achieve the perfect ice cream sandwich. It also gives you an excuse to finish a whole pint of ice cream in one sitting. Enjoy!
