We Tried Everything At Hard Rock Cafe—Here's What's Really Worth Ordering

From Delish

Aaaand we're BACK! For our premiere of season 2 of Julia Tries Everything, I knew I had to invite Iconic Eats host and professional turkey leg eater Tess Koman to Hard Rock Cafe. We tried over 30 of the most popular menu items and let me tell you—we had THOUGHTS. Without further ado, here were our favorites for each round:

Appetizers: Whiskey Bacon Jam Sliders + Spinach & Artichoke Dip

The spinach and artichoke dip is essentially an excuse to eat an entire bowl of warm, melty romano and cheddar cheese and we were not mad about it one bit. If you don't want to inhale a bowl of cheese, we suggest the whiskey bacon jam sliders because 1) it comes with three for sharing 2) each slider gets its own mini crispy onion rings and 3) the homemade whiskey bacon jam is borderline life changing.

Burgers: Double Decker Double Cheeseburger + Legendary Burger

The juiciest burger on the menu is hands-down the double decker double cheeseburger. Case closed. The extra cheese stacked between the layers of patty will make you feel true joy. Again, if this is too much cheese for you, we also fell in love with the original legendary burger: The smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, and thick onion ring proves that sometimes less is more.

Specialty Entrees: Cowboy Ribeye + Baby Back Ribs

When we die, please slather us in the herb butter and house-made barbecue sauce from both of these items. It should be no surprise that we fell in love with another ribeye at a restaurant. They're simply too irresistible. The baby back ribs are roughly the size of a human femur and we are not complaining about it whatsoever. The sweet, sticky sauce needs to be bottled and sold nationwide ASAP.

Salads, Sandwiches & Sides: BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich + Golden Onion Ring Tower

Tess fell in love with this BBQ sandwich thanks to the thin apple slices below the pulled pork while I was fully entranced by the onion ring tower. Not only is the tower a picture-worthy side—the ranch and barbecue dipping sauces complement the crunchy rings equally and perfectly. We recommend ordering the onion ring tower as an app instead of a side.

Desserts: Boozy Cookies & Cream Milkshake + Homemade Apple Cobbler

The dessert round may have been our hardest because we truly loved everything, but there can only be two winners. The boozy cookies & cream milkshake was like you were drinking an entire Oreo with a shot of vanilla vodka. You can't taste the alcohol, which may make it dangerous for some of you. Meanwhile, the apple cobbler stole Julia's heart. The layers of green apple slices, the warm crumbles, and caramel sauce was the iconic dessert trifecta. Special shoutout to the New York cheesecake and espresso martini.

Cocktails: Tropical Margarita

Tequila, cointreau, guava, and lime juice: What could go wrong? Maybe don't answer that. We felt like we were on a tropical vacation even though we were in the middle of Times Square.
