I Tried On 19 Swimsuits in the Comfort of My Own Home—These 10 Were My Faves

Okay, fine, I'll admit it: I have a bit of an obsession with bikinis. (Did the story title give it away?) Truthfully, I can't really go a day without browsing the new swim arrivals section of my favorite retailers. But, hey, I'm an L.A. girl, so beach season is pretty much year-round here. And just because my favorite beaches are closed for lying out (I'll be there soon, Malibu!), doesn't mean I'm not shopping for suits I'll be wearing this summer—starting on my balcony.

After trying on what felt like one million suits (I'm a 32DD and picky about my tops!), my swim drawer is now overflowing with all the bikini styles you could think of—bandeau, triangle, sporty, balconette—and I'm not mad about it. Keep scrolling for the 10 bikinis I'm declaring my absolute favorites, plus a few more I'm obsessing over.

I love, love, love anything from Monday Swimwear. I've said it once, and I'll say it again, I swear by anything Tash and Dev create since they have bigger busts like me. Since I'm a DD with a smaller band size, I'm always in between sizes, but because of the tie in the back, I'm able to adjust the top to make it fit perfectly.

Shop the suit:

Monday Swimwear Jamaica Top ($92)

Monday Swimwear Argentina Bottom ($82)

The color makes me so happy, the crinkle fabric makes me so happy, the cut makes me so happy—so yes, this bikini obviously is one of my favorites.

Shop the suit:

Tori Praver Swimwear Sophia Smocked Bikini Top ($99)

Tori Praver Swimwear Dylan Smocked Bikini Bottom ($99)

I was skeptical about this bikini since I'm usually one to want a little bit more fabric for my chest (as you can tell from my tan lines here—ignore them!), but I ended up falling in love with it. Not only is the color super fun, but the cups are pretty adjustable (and the straps tie on the top and bottom) so you can choose how much coverage you want.

Shop the suit:

Frankies Bikinis Dume Top ($85)

Frankies Bikinis Dume Bottom ($85)

I'm a big fan of bandeau tops. A lot of people think that with bigger boobs, it's harder to wear the style. Sometimes that's true, but you just have to find the right brand. When there's enough fabric and it's tight enough on your body (but not too tight that it smushes the girls down), it looks and feels so good.

Shop the suit:

Jade Swim All Around Bandeau Bikini Top ($80)

Jade Swim Incline Bikini Briefs ($90)

I've been eyeing everything tie-dye these days (I blame Instagram), and this suit did not disappoint. The color is so bright, and I love that the cute tankini style makes me feel a little nostalgic about my childhood.

Shop the suit:

Peixoto Cleo Top ($74)

Peixoto Bella Full Bikini Bottoms ($66)

Yet another bandeau style that is so good! There is so much support in this top, and the fabric feels like actual butter. Trust me: You always need that staple black suit in your bikini drawer.

Shop the suit:

Myra Daria Bandeau Bikini Top ($95)

Myra Hugo Bikini Briefs ($95)

I've honestly been on the hunt for a lemon-print suit for almost a year now, and I finally found a winner.

Shop the suit:

Bond Eye Tied To It Crop Bikini Top ($90)

Bond Eye So Vain High Waist Brief ($85)

The balconette on this suit is everything. It's seriously so supportive. Also, I just can't get over how good this color is.

Shop the suit:

L*Space Camellia Bikini Top ($110)

L*Space Cabana Bikini Bottom ($70)

I'm not sure why I decided on a mini tree pose for this photo, but here we are. I'm always super intrigued by swimsuits on Amazon because they're so cheap, but I'm always a little worried about the quality. This one, however, pleasantly surprised me (enough so that I'm going to add to the 1000+ good reviews on the site). I also love this color—it looks expensive.

Shop the suit:

Omkagi Bandeau Bikini High Waist Bathing Suit ($27)

I originally got this suit for Coachella (sad!), but it works perfectly for this summer as well. The style is so unique and makes me feel chic (something about that balconette). I also love the cut of the bottoms.

Shop the suit:

Onia Johannah Rib Top ($95)

Onia Susana Rib Bottom ($95)

More Styles I Love:

Tori Praver Swimwear Matty Bikini Top ($99)

Tori Praver Swimwear Jean Cheeky Bikini Bottom ($79)

This is officially my new favorite suit for tanning.

Bond Eye The Sloane Bikini Top ($66)

Bond Eye The Sign Bikini Bottoms ($48)

This color? Yes. And the fabric is super soft.

Madewell Second Wave Ribbed Triangle Bikini Top ($40)

Madewell Second Wave Ribbed Side-Strap Bikini Bottom ($35)

I'm really feeling anything with ribbed fabric lately.

Same Lady Tie Top ($120)

Same Lady High Rise Bottom ($100)

I've been seeing a lot of these one-shoulder tops lately, and I'm here for it.

L.A. Hearts Bianca Scrunch Square Neck Bikini Top ($27)

L.A. Hearts Kelsey Scrunch High Waisted Bikini Bottom ($25)

PacSun swimsuits are always a favorite. They're so cheap and cute.

Monday Swimwear Maui Top ($94)

Monday Swimwear Riviera Bottom ($82)

Another amazing suit option from Monday Swimwear. A red bikini is always a must.

Charlie Holiday Hendrix Bikini Top ($49)

Charlie Holiday Hendrix High Waisted Bottoms ($49)

You really can't go wrong with gingham print.
