If you're looking for an Airbnb in Idaho-one that's not a giant potato or a statue of a dog-we've found the perfect escape for you. The fun rental is listed as Crystal Peak Lookout on Airbnb, and the stunning views are only half of what makes this treehouse an unforgettable getaway.

Located in Fernwood, Idaho, Crystal Peak Lookout was remodeled pretty recently-in 2018, to be exact. Originally built in 1959 in Chewelah, Washington, and relocated to Idaho in 1983, the bright red home is described as an immersive deep-forest getaway for adventurous couples. You'll have stunning sunset views and feel like one of the birds twittering around in the treetops surrounding you-and the best part? There's a private wood-burning sauna just steps away from your treehouse retreat, and it's all for just $200 a night.

There are 13 full acres for you to adventure around in during your stay at Crystal Peak Lookout and because of its warm stove heater and sauna, it makes an ideal getaway in the winter, as well.

"Wow, this was so fun," one Airbnb reviewer exclaimed. "We got a snow cat ride to the bottom of the driveway and hiked in the snow the rest of the way. Kristie is a wonderful host and has put a lot of thought into this unique off grid look out tower. It definitely is great for people who like “adventures” and are open to going with the flow."

Fair warning: if you're yearning for state of the art plumbing, you won't find it at the Crystal Peak Lookout, but don't worry-the outhouse is set up and ready for use!
