Travis Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, is entering the Traylor chat. Just weeks after Donna Kelce quipped that hanging out with her son’s maybe-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during a Chiefs game was just “OK” during an appearance on Today, the NFL star’s dad is now singing Swift’s praises.
In a new interview with People, Ed got candid about the time he spent with the star at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 12, explaining that she is “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.”

“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Kelce told the outlet. “We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites, everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”
Ed continued, “And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really, to me, said a whole lot.”
He concluded, “She's very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away.”
Ed’s stamp of approval comes shortly after Taylor attended her fourth Chiefs game over the weekend, where she watched her beau face off against the Los Angeles Chargers. For the occasion, Swift sported a vintage red Chiefs sweatshirt paired with a pleated navy miniskirt and black loafers, which she accessorized with a gold beaded friendship bracelet complete with Travis’s number, 87.
The pair was spotted leaving hand-in-hand after Sunday night's game, which the Chiefs won 31-17, where Travis coordinated with Swift by wearing a tan-and-red plaid shirt and khaki pants.
