Travis Barker Shuts Down Kim Kardashian Rumors: Kourtney "Knows We Used to Talk"

Travis Barker just shut down speculation that Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian's drama might have something to do with his previous friendship with Kim—which Travis wrote about in his 2016 memoir Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Travis explained “It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it. I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me.”

“That’s her sister,” he continued. “She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on. You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous.”

In Travis' memoir, he recalls—per Us Weekly—"secretly checking out Kim" and saying "I don’t care if she’s the closet girl, she’s fucking hot." He also reportedly writes, “We went to dinner, we went to lunch. You might think I would be doing the worst things with this girl because of her tapes, but it was the exact opposite of any other encounter I’ve had with a woman: with Kim, I wanted to be nothing but a gentleman to her. It was so weird.”

The Times notes that Travis has "long maintained that nothing physical ever happened between him and Kim," and he went on to become close friends with the Kardashian family until eventually falling in love with Kourtney. The pair got married last year, and are currently expecting their first child together!
