Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian Were All Over Each Other at the 2021 MTV VMAs
Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly are set to perform “Papercuts” at the MTV VMAs tonight, and both brought the women with whom they're madly in love as their red carpet dates. Barker and his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian made their MTV VMAs debut, and the two were, of course, affectionate in front of the cameras. Kardashian wore a black leather mini dress, while Barker wore a black blazer and pants.
Barker reflected on Kardashian's impact getting him to fly again for the first time after he survived a deadly 2008 plane crash in an interview with Nylon released this week.
“I didn't even know I was going,” Barker said of his and Kardashian's first flight together that resulted in their trip to Cabo. “I made a deal with her that she had just said to me, ‘I would love to do so much traveling with you. I want to go to Italy with you. I want to go to Cabo with you. I want to go to Paris with you. I want to go to Bora Bora with you.’ And I said, ‘Well, when the day comes you want to fly, I'm telling you I'll do it with you. I would do anything with you. And just give me 24 hours’ notice.’ And that's what she did.”
Their traveling now, “it's still something very new to me, but having something that gives me the strength and hope to be able to overcome things that were so traumatic in my life, it just says a ton,” he said. “She's definitely that for me. I'm invincible when I'm with her. It’s like I never dreamed, I never even considered flying again.”
