Train Derails in Tokyo, Impacting Airport Service

A train derailed in Tokyo, Japan, on Thursday, November 17, causing delays and service suspensions, including on a line to Narita Airport.

Eyewitness footage captured by a passenger on another train shows part of an eight-car Keisei Electric Railway train derailed at Keisei Takasago Station in the Katsushika ward.

According to Japanese broadcaster NHK, the train was about to enter a garage when part of it came off the tracks. There were no passengers on board and the driver was uninjured.
