A second trailer is out for the two live-action Fullmetal Alchemist sequel films, Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter - The Avenger Scar (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen - Fukushūsha Scar) and Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter - The Last Transmutation (Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen - Saigo no Rensei). The franchise launched with the eponymous Fullmetal Alchemist in 2017, based on Hiromu Arakawa’s hit manga.

The Avenger Scar is currently screening in theaters, while its second part, The Last Transmutation is scheduled to premiere first in Japan on June 24.

Directed by Fumihiko Sori, the latest trailer for The Last Transmutation picks up almost immediately where The Avenger Scar left off. After opening with a conversation between Hohenheim and Father, the video runs through a montage of fast-paced action scenes, closing with a battle between Edward Elric (Ryōsuke Yamada) and Scar (Mackenyu Arata).

The first film in the series is available to watch on Netflix now. Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter - The Last Transmutation debuts in Japan on June 24.
