  • In her latest snaps, the 49-year-old Black-ish star is rocking a pair of black booty shorts. And wow, her legs are beyond toned 🔥

  • To stay super fit, Tracee relies on the Tracy Anderson Method—a dance-based workout that gets the heart rate up in no time.

Tracee Ellis Ross can make any outfit look model-worthy. From oversized suits to snow boots and winter coats, her style is iconic. Even when she's working out, she always looks amazing. And in a new fitness-inspired Instagram post, the 49-year-old Black-ish star shared pics of herself posing on stairs while rocking a fun graphic T-shirt, a pair of black booty shorts, and a slick pair of Diadora Heritage N9000's.

Tracee provided no caption. But naturally, her A-list pals were so into it: "THIGHS," actress Robin Thede commented. While Erykah Badu wrote, "She fresh." Actress Gabrielle Union left her "🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥." And singer Chloe Bailey commented, " wow 😍."

To get her legs so sculpted, Tracee recently told The Wall Street Journal that "I work out three or four times a week. It was more before Covid, but usually Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are for sure. I’ll do a 6, 7, 8, or 9 a.m. workout."

She also swears by the Tracy Anderson Method—a dance-based workout that can get your heart rate up in zero time. “I do love Tracy Anderson, the blasting music. I love that it changes all the time,” Tracee previously told Vibe. “I love that she really sculpts a workout for my body. I feel lean."

In April 2020, Tracee took to Instagram to share just how much she loves the workout. "I love the workouts and have been doing it for years," she wrote. "It keeps me strong and long with a little jiggle. Just like I like!"

She also hits the gym with trainer celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins. “I love what she does and we often lift weights together,” Tracee told Vibe. “I’ll do the Santa Monica stairs. I’ll do some yoga. I also love Ballet Beautiful. Everyone can do that online.” And during a workout in October 2021, Tracee even wore SmartCuffs to help restrict blood flow during training.

And in August 2021, she got in a "slow and steady" kettlebell workout.

Tracee also makes sure to stay hydrated. "I drink water, and I don't drink a ton of alcohol," she said. "Alcohol makes the folds go deeper—one glass of wine is like being on 17 airplanes; it just dries you out," she explained to Health.

Of course, eating well helps her stay strong and build muscle during her workouts. Tracee told People, "I like simple, whole foods." And she doesn't restrict herself. “My favorite meal of the day is an early dinner/late lunch between 4 and 6 p.m.,” she said. “I love going to one of my favorite restaurants once a week to have a glass of wine and a delicious meal. I don’t restrict my eating to firm meal times. I eat in the same philosophy that I live with: joyfully!”

Tracee also makes sure to take her supplements...and apple sauce. "Usually vitamin C and B. I use the Lypo-Spheric kind. And I do algae. And what is the other one? You know, I’m a perimenopausal lady! I’m 49! Fish oil! That’s what I’m trying to find. And I drink my Chinese herbs and then 15 minutes before my workout, I eat a little lunchbox-sized apple sauce," she told WSJ. "And I do not like apple sauce at all. But I was told that that kind of pure, good-for-you sugar 15 minutes before a workout will make your workout more productive. Whether it works or not, I have no idea. But I suffer through eating the apple sauce."

We love the honesty, Tracee!
