This ‘Toy Story’ restaurant is a Woody-themed dream

This summer, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., will introduce Toy Story Land. The new area will be dedicated to the Pixar movies and all those lovable toys. While fans wait to hop on cool rides like the “Slinky Dog Dash” roller coaster, they’ll also be able to indulge in some delicious food. Woody’s Lunch Box, a restaurant dedicated to our favorite cowboy and all things “Toy Story,” unveiled its full menu — and it’s rootin-tootin’ good! Think of all the things you craved as a kid — and take it up a notch. “Everyone has a special food memory, so it can be tricky putting a modern spin on the favorites,” explained Lenny DeGeorge, concept development culinary director for Walt Disney World. So what can we expect? How about a S’more French Toast Breakfast Sandwich, topped with graham cracker crumbles? There’s a BBQ Brisket Melt with cheddar, Monterey Jack, pickles, and BBQ sauce on garlic-butter grilled sourdough – now that deserves a howdy there! The menu has been in development for a year and includes desserts like Pop-Tart inspired treats and soda floats to give you that nostalgic vibe. DeGeorge said, “We honored these classic dishes by using the best ingredients, to elevate the flavors.” Meals will range from $8.99 to around $12.99. Woody’s Lunch Box will open June 30, along with Toy Story Land.
