Tony Hawk Gets Final Permits Approved To Open His Upcoming Restaurant
The icon of skateboarding himself, Tony Hawk got his final permits approved this past week to open up his chicken sandwich restaurant ‘Chicken and Hawk’. To celebrate the permits he held a surprise pop-up event in Encinitas, whipping up crispy chicken sandos!
Apparently, Hawk and his crew have been trying to get the restaurant open for over two years now, so securing the permits to actually break ground and start construction on the restaurant is huge!
The restaurant is expected to open sometime in 2024, but until then be on the lookout for more of their pop-up events, as you may just hear “order 69” from Tony himself as he hands over your pipping hot juicy chicken sandwich.
