Tomi Lahren slammed for insulting striking Uber, Lyft drivers: 'Half the cars reek of body odor'
Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren is getting heat for disparaging Uber and Lyft drivers amid a strike that has those who work for the ride-sharing apps demanding better wages and more job security.
While prominent Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Kamala Harris have voiced support for striking drivers, Lahren is standing firmly on the other side of the picket line.
A week after butting heads on Twitter with Alyssa Milano over gun control, the conservative commentator lashed out at those protesting the working conditions at the ride-sharing apps. Her tweet accused drivers of being slovenly and foul-smelling, claiming that they work in their pajamas and have cars that “reek of body odor.” She also criticized them for seeking higher pay and a larger share of fares.

You already get to go to “work” in your pj’s & half the cars reek of body odor.

Many were quick to defend the drivers she insulted.
No idea what Tammy is talking about. I am usually impressed how professional the drivers are dressed and groomed. Where are they driving in PJ’s 🤷🏻♂️

My favorite Uber driver met us at the airport in his clean minivan, loaded our luggage, surprised us with chilled water bottles, had phone chargers ready for all 4 of us, and told us the history of the area we were in. But then, we didn’t act like entitled jerks, so....

Some stood up for her, however. When a critic shot back that Lahren’s Uber rating would take a hit because of her remarks, a fan rose to her defense and suggested that she was too rich and successful to even use the app.
She is most likely at the point in her life where she can rent a car, or just buy a new one every time she visits a new city. Rethink your insults.
