All the Signs That Zendaya and Tom Holland are Dating

Even before Spiderman: Homecoming was released, it wasn't hard to tell Zendaya and her co-star, Tom Holland, had lots of chemistry. Though both have denied that they're dating, there are so many clues that say otherwise. The two spent lots of time together promoting their movie sequel, Spiderman: Far From Home, and as we've seen with other celeb couples that work on TV shows or movies together, that's the perfect way to catch feelings (looking at you Sprousehart). We'll continue to ship them until they confirm their relationship one day. Until then, here are all the signs that Zendaya and Tom are a thing.

1. Tom is Definitely Looking for a relationship

When Tom told Elle that he's "definitely a relationship person," I assumed he meant that he was dating Zendaya (despite his denial of that fact in the same interview). Now, though, it seems pretty obvious that the two aren't dating, even though fans everywhere are literally begging for an IRL Spiderman romance.

In fact, the actor was seen with another woman as a music festival in London recently. And, no matter how hard you squint, there is no way you would ever confuse this girl with Zendaya. Tom's date, who is adorable and blonde, was seen getting pretty close to him, and the two were even holding hands at one point.

So, unfortunately, despite many rumors, it seems like Zendaya and Tom probably aren't dating and Tom is instead spending time with this mystery blonde. It's OK though, because I have learned, when it comes to celebrity ships, you should never say never. I mean, look at Shamila, that proves dreams really do come true, sometimes you just have to wait.

2. Tom Says He’s a Relationship Person

In a recent interview with Elle, Tom revealed he's "definitely a relationship person," which is pretty much the best news ever. "I’m not the fleeting type at all," he said. "It’s not my way of life."

Unfortunately, the good news ends there, because though Tom has a propensity for love, he confirmed that he is not dating Zendaya, despite all the evidence that suggests otherwise (please refer to the rest of this article). Still, let's stay positive because that means Tom Holland is single AND quite possibly looking for a relationship (hey, I'm free Saturday night, Tom). And just because Tom and Zendaya aren't dating, doesn't mean we can't keep shipping their adorable friendship.

3. The way Tom tagged Zendaya in this Instagram post

Tom took to Instagram to share a photo of him, Zendaya, their co-star Jacob Batalon spending some time at Disneyland. The post seemed so innocent until you looked a little closer. Tom tagged Zendaya's name in his crotch area. Yes, forreal. Here's the evidence.

Even Zendaya noticed commenting, "I'm assuming because you don't know how to work ig, that's the reasoning behind my name placement," she wrote jokingly.

Tom later changed the location of Zendaya's tag to her eye, but they're not fooling us. We know that was some low-key flirting.

Some of Zendaya's fans tweeted her asking if the tag was subliminal, but Zendaya said it really was unintentional.

Her fan's weren't buying it, though, to which Zendaya jokingly replied "Messssyyyy."

4. Ever since landing their roles as MJ and Spiderman, Zendaya and Tom have spending lots of time with each other.

The first time we got some photo evidence of the two hanging together was when Tom uploaded this picture of them and a friend just lounging inside a pool.

Throughout the years, Zendaya and Tom have accompanied each other to countless red carpet events including the MTV Movie and TV awards and Comic-Con and though the events were probably part of a press tour, even in pictures the chemistry between them is absolutely noticeable.

One source even told People that the two had even gone on vacations together. "They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man. They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another," the source said. Another insider told People that the two had a lot in common. "They’re both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth.”

But Zendaya was quick to deny the rumors on Twitter sarcastically tweeting, "Wait wait...my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven't been on a vacation in years! hbu @TomHolland1996?"

Tom replied asking if the press tour counted.

5. Zendaya's really private about her personal life.

In 2017, Zendaya opened up to Vogue about having a secret boyfriend for four years from 2012-2016. Though her fans suspect that it was probably Disney star Trevor Jackson, there has never been confirmation about who the secret person in Zendaya's life was. Both stars unfollowed each other on Instagram in 2016, so chances are it probably was Trevor.

But since Zendaya's really good at keeping secrets, it wouldn't be too far off to assume that she could also be keeping a secret relationship with Tom Holland.

6. Tom was spotted dining out with her parents.

Meeting the parents is a big step, so if that's not confirmation the two are dating, I don't know what is. According to Page Six, Tom was spotted charming Zendaya and her parents at Bobby Van's Central Park South, a restaurant in NYC.

7. Skai Jackson's mom, Kiya Cole, accidentally outed the couple.

In honor of her 22nd birthday, Just Jared posted a picture of Zendaya to Instagram. Fans started commenting that Tom attended her birthday dinner sparking more rumors that they were dating. But another commenter who didn't believe the rumors wrote, "Rumoured [sic] boyfriend hahaha y'all dream too much. Kiya then responded to the thread writing, "Yes. It’s true. They been on the low for a while.”

Kiya was super quick to backtrack, though, saying "Nothing posted or said was me. I could [sic] care less or know who was dating who. Please stop asking.” Either Kiya was hacked or she found herself in hot water for spilling the secret.

8. They both have such good things to say about each other.

Both Zendaya and Tom are always saying the sweetest things about each other. When Zendaya slayed the red carpet at the Met Gala in 2018, Tom posted her to his Instagram, calling her a queen.

He also posted a picture of Zendaya for her birthday, ending the caption with a heart emoji. If there's hearts involved, this is def a thing.

Zendaya's also taken her love for Tom to Instagram. When they both appeared on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter in 2016, Zendaya called Tom "the very best."

That same month, she also called Tom one of her favorite people.
