If the fall chill in the air has you nostalgic for school days of yore, this new throwback clip from the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone set will satisfying your yearning for the past. Actor Tom Felton, who played noted Slytherin Draco Malfoy in the series, shared a sweet throwback video clip of himself and costar Emma Watson (with a cameo from Daniel Radcliffe) playing a hand-clapping game during downtime on set, and we can't believe it's been nearly 20 years since the first movie came out.
In the clip, Emma and Tom, both in costume as Draco and Hermione, are in the midst of a cutthroat game of catch hands. Both are in deep concentration, trying to fake out the other and win, but Tom eventually triumphs over Emma. "Champion #Slytherin," he wrote in the caption, though his pal Emma hopped on to clear things up for fans. "I’d like to point out that I did go on to win," she wrote, though we don't have video footage to support such claims. Either way, we're loving this throwback of some of our favorite stars waaaay back in the day, and it's making us want to give Sorcerer's Stone (and the rest of the HP movies) a rewatch over the weekend.
Emma and Tom are still good pals, long after hanging up their robes and retiring their wands. In August, Tom posted a pic of himself and Emma together as he taught her how to play guitar, and earlier in 2019, Emma posted a gorgeous photo of herself shot by Tom. It seems that despite the fact that their Hogwarts days are long behind them, the connections they made on set have only strengthened as time goes by, and we can't wait for the next Harry Potter throwback moment.
