Al Roker got Good Morning America viewers all choked up with his surprise cameo during yesterday's broadcast.

The NBC TODAY show host made a brief appearance on the rival morning talk show to congratulate his wife, ABC News correspondent Deborah Roberts, and celebrate her new book.

While promoting her book Lessons Learned and Cherished: The Teacher Who Changed My Life on the show, and after wrapping up her conversation with George Stephanopoulos, the host turned to Roberts, both 62, and said, "We are so proud of you. So is your family. Take a look."

And without further ado, Roberts' loving husband (joined by the couple's two adult children: Leila, 24, and Nicholas, 20) shared a sweet message with the author.

"We're so proud of you and we're so excited for this project," Roker gushed. "It is a labor of love and everybody who's been a part of it loves the idea and we all love you and could not be prouder."

"From your family..." the 68-year-old weathercaster continued, before signaling for the rest of the adoring crew to join in: "We love you," they cheered in unison.

"Oh you guys!" Roberts said, blushing and clearly touched by her family's PSA (public support announcement).

Roker and Roberts met in 1990 when the missus was a correspondent for NBC’s TODAY, and the two remained friends even after Roberts moved to Miami for work. Then, a few years later, Roker divorced his first wife and Roberts returned to New York City. The two rekindled their friendship shortly thereafter and have been living happily ever since!
