  • Today show star Hoda Kotb recently shared a photo of herself on Instagram with her boyfriend Joel Schiffman.

  • Joel and Hoda have been together since 2013, and now some fans think she's getting married soon.

  • Besides that, a few fans are nervous about what Hoda's caption means.

Hoda Kotb and her boyfriend Joel Schiffman could not be any cuter - and their latest picture together proves it.

While Hoda has periodically checked in on the Today show while on maternity leave (she adopted her daughter Hope Catherine in April), most of her life updates have come from her Instagram account - like the picture below, which she posted on Wednesday to celebrate six years of dating Joel.

"Yesterday marked 6 years with this incredible man. 6 years..2 children..2 new jobs...1 grateful heart ♥️ ps thank you @jolamathisen and #tyler .. if it weren’t for you two.. we never would have met on that night," she wrote alongside the adorable snap. Her third-hour colleague Jenna Bush Hager commented "Congrats ❤️❤️❤️" shortly after Hoda posted the picture.

While countless fans congratulated Hoda on her dating milestone, a good handful began speculating about potential wedding bells. "Now you need the ring," one fan wrote. "Then when are you all getting hitched?" another asked.

On top of that, some fans appeared to get nervous over Hoda's caption - particularly the part where she mentions "two new jobs." One fan asked "what new jobs? what? wait .." while several more demanded to know when Hoda was coming back to the Today show.

While we don't know for sure what Hoda meant when she said "two new jobs," chances are she was referring to the couple becoming new parents. At the moment, there are no reports indicating that Hoda is leaving Today anytime soon. In fact, she's expected to return to the show in mid-June.

Also, there's no rule that says Hoda has to get married just because she's been with her boyfriend for six years. With that being said, her interview in March with Wendy Williams made it seem like the idea wasn't totally off the table.

"He's awesome dad, and he's going to be with me [forever]," she explained to Wendy. She also called him "the finest man" she's ever met.

But even if they don't, Hoda is okay with that, too. She told late-night Bravo host Andy Cohen that she "kind of liked" Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell's "vibe" and that she might go that path (Goldie and Kurt have been together for 35 years but never married).

Whether it happens or not, the most important thing is that Hoda appears to be super happy with Joel and her two daughters, Hope and Haley Joy.
