'Today' Fans Have Strong Feelings About Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager’s Hair Transformations
Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager rocked new looks on Wednesday's Today show — and viewers were all about it.
In honor of #ChoosedayTuesday, a day that celebrates the beauty of making positive choices, the two fourth-hour cohosts asked fans on Instagram to vote for new hairstyles for them with the promise that they'd wear the winning hairdo on the show. For Hoda, the options were a wavy updo, a flipped-out wave or a pin-straight look. Meanwhile, Jenna's fans had to choose between a shoulder-length wavy look, straight-back style or an updo. When it came down to it, Hoda and Jenna fans both agreed on updos for both — and as a result, the ladies debuted their new looks on the show.

"We kind of look like sisters, don't we?" Jenna told Hoda after the reveal. Hoda went on to ask Jenna to spin around to see the back. Both complimented the Today hair team for their incredible work.
Jenna added, "I'm not normally an updo type of person unless it's like a, you know, ponytail ... there's something about it that accentuates the face."
"I feels weird 'cause I don't ever do updos," Hoda admitted while thanking her stylists for pulling off the look.
Minutes later, the two then talked about what look fellow Today costar Savannah Guthrie had voted for with Hoda. When it came to Hoda's A-C choices, Savannah jokingly commented, "D) DONT mess with Hoda’s hair ever."
Though Jenna and Hoda weren't so sure about wearing updos, their fans really seemed to love their new looks. "Wow you guys look beautiful 😍😍," one fan commented on Instagram. "They both look awesome 🙌 great summer look 🌸," another said. "Wow! You both look fantastic! Love the updo. Hoda, that will be an awesome look on your wedding day😍. Just saying," a different fan said.
Personally, we'd love to see Jenna and Hoda in updos again soon. But even if we don't, we can all agree their normal hairstyles are just as gorgeous!
