This Tiny Glamping Rental on a Private Beach Is Officially at the Top of Our Vacation Wish List

You might not think a place called the iHouse would be the ultimate place to unplug, but this luxe little gem (no affiliation to your handheld obsession) is here to prove you completely wrong.

Set on the shores of Greece’s Chalkidiki peninsula with serene views of the calm Aegean Sea, this iHouse—smart in the way it's ecologically built—is the stuff of our stress-free vacation dreams. Sleek and minimalist inside and out, the rectangular unit is completely prefab, with planked wooden walls cladding three sides and floor-to-ceiling windows stretching along the entire ocean-facing façade. (Say hello to the sunrise over the sea from your cozy double bed!)

At 365 square feet, the pint-sized studio space is remarkably efficient, with a living room, dining space, mini-kitchen, and bath (plus an outdoor shower should you want to rinse off to the sounds of nature). The rental takes the casual, cozy feel a step further by cladding nearly every surface in wood, from the floors and ceilings to the kitchen countertops and bathroom sink.

If being alone with your thoughts is your cup of tea, the long balcony just steps from the sand is the perfect spot for a morning meditation or an afternoon cocktail. But if you’re itching for some Ouzo, stroll along the beach and you’ll find a string of laid-back beach bars where the water (as it is along this entire coastline) is wade-in warm in the summer.

We’re officially ready for a big fat Greek vacation. Anyone else?
