Timothée Chalamet and Eiza González’s relationship is officially over.
Timothée and Eiza were first rumored to be dating back in June when they were spotted making out in Cabo San Lucas.
Yet another couple has decided to call it quits in this cursed year, and no, I’m not talking about Brad Pitt and Nicole Poturalski, because that’s yesterday’s news. Remember Timothée Chalamet and Eiza González’s steamy summer fling? You know, the one that saw them furiously making out inside a pool during their Cabo San Lucas vacay? Welp, that’s over now.
According to an E! News source, Timothée and Eiza haven’t been dating for quite some time, meaning they probably broke up well before now. “They weren’t together for long, just that Cabo trip,” the source said, adding that they spoke with Eiza recently. Eiza allegedly didn’t mention Timothée at all and “seemed single.” So, uh…there’s that.
Don’t expect to hear anything from Timothée or Eiza about their relationship ending. Timothée tries his best to keep his love life out of interviews and the press (not always successful, obvi), and Eiza has straight-up said she likes to purposely keep her relationships private.
“I don’t think that it’s necessary [to share details about my private life],” Eiza told Latina in 2017. “I think that your life as public person is already so exposed. I’m being linked to people because it’s my environment. It’s like your school. We know each other. It’s people I surround myself with. I don’t know why it’s such a big thing.”
Welp, at least Timothée and Eiza ended things before the holiday spiral. Think of how much they just saved on Christmas gifts and awk family meetings!
