This TikTok Hack Turns a Bottle Of Corona Into an Unreal Beer Cocktail

We know some folks might prefer not to mix booze and beer but we think, with the right combinations, it can be a match made in heaven. Take this amazing new TikTok trend that has been absolutely blowing up on the"For You" page. You dump a bunch of ingredients inspired by the classic cocktail, Tequila Sunrise, and dump it into a bottle of beer to make a Corona Sunrise.

All you need is a bottle of Corona, some tequila, orange juice, grenadine, and, if you're fancy, a lime wedge. To mix you can just give it a swirl or you can do that cool corona-lime thumb trick (assuming you can manage to keep it from spraying all over you).

Why do we love his trend? First and foremost, we love Corona. We honestly struggle to think of a beer that's better to cool down on hot day. Second, the Tequila Sunrise is going viral for a reason. It's genius, simple to make, and looks gorgeous. And finally, using the bottle means you don't need to dirty up any extra dishes because you're just making the drink right in the bottle.

You might be asking yourself, "Sure this looks awesome, but what in the world is grenadine?" Grenadine is a tart, sweet syrup used in all types of cocktails and mocktails (like Shirley Temples). Traditionally it's made with fresh pomegranate juice (hence the tartness) and the name comes from the French word grenade, which translates to "delicious fruit". In this case, it's what makes that iconic swirling sunrise effect appear in your bottle.
