Every now and again, social media likes to go back and obsess over Kate Middleton‘s looks from the past because they didn’t get enough of them the first time around. When an outfit is that good, it would be rude not to! And that’s exactly what has happened involving her look from this year’s Trooping the Color event…
Kate Middleton's Stunning 2023 Trooping The Color Outfit
The Princess of Wales, 41, naturally stole the show at the Trooping the Color event on Saturday, June 17th. She wore a breathtaking emerald green coat dress by Andrew Gn, which was the very first time she had worn something by the Singapore-born designer. She accessorized with a bold Philip Treacy hat in a matching green color and matching green suede heels, as well as sapphire-and-diamond earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana, which complemented the blue detailing on her ensemble's buttons.
Royal fans believed that the striking color was a tribute to the Irish Guards, after she became a patron earlier in the year, while they also believed that choosing an outfit from a Singapore-born designer was in honor of the Earthshot Prize Awards being held in Singapore at the end of the year. If you'll recall, they happened earlier this month, although the Princess of Wales was not in attendance, choosing instead to stay behind and support Prince George as he took his Eton College entrance exams.
