  • Tiger King’s Carole Baskin has won control of Joe Exotic’s Oklahoma zoo.

  • The zoo is currently occupied by Jeff Lowe, who has 120 days to vacate the property.

In a plot twist no one saw coming, Tiger King’s Carole Baskin is taking over control of her nemesis Joe Exotic’s former zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. So how exactly did this happen? Apparently, Big Cat Rescue Corp. was granted ownership of the zoo as part of a trademark judgment against Joe Exotic.

Basically, Carole won the judgment years ago but Joe never paid her the $1 million he owed. Flash forward to now, and a judge is saying that Joe’s transfer of the zoo to Jeff Lowe is fraudulent, which means Carole is taking over the land to—as TMZ puts it—“help satisfy that $1 mil judgment from the old trademark lawsuit.”

Jeff has 120 days to vacate the property (note: he gets to keep the animals), but apparently, he is not too upset about it and has big plans for a new park.

“We have long anticipated that the judge would eventually undo the 2016 land transfer,” Jeff told TMZ. “We are thankful that he dragged out his decision this long and allowed us time to complete the new Tiger King Park in Thackerville, Oklahoma, behind the world’s largest casino. Considering [Carole] spent approximately $2.5M chasing her $1M judgment, we congratulate her on her new acquisition of 16 acres in rural Oklahoma. The possibility of human remains being buried on this land should make her feel right at home.”

I’m…truly speechless at this shade.
