Tiffany Haddish is too booked, busy, and blessed to worry about her Golden Globe snub

Tiffany Haddish has too many blessings in her lap to feel slighted by awards season.

After her Girls Trip co-star Jada Pinkett Smith went on the defense because the 38-year-old didn’t receive a Golden Globes nomination for her breakout role in the summer blockbuster film, Haddish responded in the best way she knows how.

As articulated in a tweet on Wednesday, Haddish thanked everyone for their support — Pinkett Smith included.

“Thank all of y’all for your love and support, I don’t know or care much about snubs because I’m not nasty like that!!,” she wrote.

On Monday, Pinkett Smith expressed her disdain for the Hollywood Foreign press in a series of tweets.

To Pinkett Smith’s actions, Haddish simply said: “But I love my girl Jada and I love all of you! @jadapsmith @VanityFair #SHEREADY”

Haddish stole the show in the film, which raked up $113.3 million in the domestic box office and made history as the first ever Black-led/directed/produced movie to ever accomplish such a feat.

Following the success of the production, Haddish secured more accomplishments by becoming the first Black female comedian to host Saturday Night Live… ever, inking a deal with Showtime for her first stand-up special and penning her memoir, The Last Black Unicorn.

We guess when you’re this booked, busy and blessed, an award show snub isn’t causing you any stress!
