Tia Mowry Looks Amazing With Platinum Blonde Hair and Curtain Bangs

Tia Mowry just debuted a major hair transformation.

On June 13, the Sister Sister star showed off her latest chop and color. “She’s back!! You can call me #blondie,” she wrote alongside a photo with her fresh curtain bangs, mid-length cut, and platinum blonde locks.

This is likely a wig considering Tia Mowry’s recent post about her natural hair growth. After chopping most of her hair off at the beginning of last year, the actor shared her progress on June 10. “#TBT How it started VS How it’s going,” she captioned the post. “I chopped my hair off at the beginning of #2020! Rocked a #fro SWIPE to see the growth! #curls #natural #naturalhair 🙌🏽.”

In both styles, the star looks absolutely fantastic—and she’s not the only one. Many celebs are shaking off time spent in quarantine with a bright revamp, from Selena Gomez to Lucy Hale to Billie Eilish

But if you’re going into the salon for a dye job, don’t expect a quick appointment. In fact, Gomez’s transformation, which she debuted on the Rare Beauty Instagram account in April, took eight hours. “The entire process took 200 foils, several bowls of bleach, and eight hours of hair magic,” stylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri said in a statement. “This blond is unique to her as we had to make sure there was an equal balance of cool and warm for her skin tone. It’s an edgier look and perfect for summer.”

For Eilish, going from black and green hair to platinum blond was a six-week venture. Meanwhile, Hale gradually lightened her dark bob for months before her bleached, lemon-honey blonde look.

Of course, a wig moment—like Kim Kardashian’s in April—can give you the look you’re going for in a fraction of the time, as well as protect your hair from the harsh process. You love to see it!
