More than just a show (and a book before that), Game of Thrones is a cultural phenomenon. The series spawned its own Oreo, Mountain Dew can, kitchen utensils, Shake Shack menu, beers, wines, and whiskies… Can I stop now? (Not really.) With that much commercial success on the line, a continuation of the franchise was probably inevitable — and yes, last week, we got our first teaser for the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragons, slated to hit HBO Max next year.

But while the GoT franchise will have had a three-year hiatus from television, the GoT products have never really stopped. In 2019, the New York-based Brewery Ommegang released its 15th and final Game of Thrones-themed beer well after the series had already ended. And then, earlier this year, Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced they had teamed up with a new brewing partner, the Danish brand Mikkeller, on a multi-year deal for a bunch more beers.

The first one, Iron Anniversary IPA, was released in April. And today, Mikkeller and Warner Bros. have announced the next three Game of Thrones beers — slated to start rolling out next week. You may not have any new episodes to watch, but you have plenty of drinking to do!

Night King Double IPA, Ghost Visions Lager and Castle Black Stout are "based on central places and characters from the series' universe," intended to "celebrate and pay tribute to the snow-capped North … based on the common theme 'Winter is Here.'"

"As the beers are launched right up to winter, and winter plays a significant role in Game of Thrones, it made sense to find inspiration for the beers in Westeros' frozen, dark world," Mikkel Bjergsø, Mikkeller's founder and creative director, stated.

The fruity Night King Double IPA is an 8-percent ABV tribute to the army commander of the White Walkers. Ghost Visions is a more sessionable, 4.5-percent ABV, "clean, light, and fresh" lager inspired by the direwolf raised by Jon Snow. Finally, Castle Black Stout is an 11.3-percent ABV bourbon barrel-aged imperial oatmeal stout. Fittingly, this massive beer is inspired by a castle: the bastion of The Night's Watch.

All three beers are slated to launch globally this Friday, October 15, not only in America, but also in Sweden, the U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and South Korea — as well as through Mikkeller's webshop. Additionally, you can check that webshop – as well as select retail stores — for things like exclusive merchandise and gift packs.
