Thousands of Sheep Cross Highway for Annual Event in Boise, Idaho

A large crowd watched nearly 2,600 sheep cross a highway in Boise, Idaho, as a sheep herder moved his flock to the nearby foothills.

The annual event involves local rancher Frank Shirts moving the herd “through the foothills toward the high country,” the Idaho Press reported.

Among the spectators at the event was Robin Dahl, who captured footage of the event.
