If you’re on TikTok, there is a pretty good chance that by now, you’ve come across those Aerie leggings. Thanks to the video-sharing app, the crossover leggings are virtually impossible to get your hands on — and since they’re an online-only exclusive, all you can really do is wait for Aerie to restock.
Originally, the ultra-flattering leggings went viral in November thanks to TikToker Hannah Schlenker. The influencer made a video dancing to “Drummer Boy” in her kitchen while wearing the Real Me High-Waisted Crossover Leggings, and almost immediately, everyone in the comments decided that they needed to buy them.
“I really stopped everything I was doing to buy these,” one person joked.
“Aerie needs to run [you your] check bc I just bought their leggings bc of this video,” another added.
The leggings weren’t the point of Schlenker’s video, but people couldn’t believe how becoming they were. Users only became more obsessed with the leggings when another user who goes by @katieladieee showed them off on her mid-size frame and confirmed that they looked equally stunning.
“I have more of, like, a mid-size body type … but these leggings really, like, they are my favorite. They literally just make everything look so good,” @katieladieee said.
Aerie recently restocked the coveted crossover leggings, but they are already almost sold out in every size. Thankfully, many other brands make similar cross-waist leggings that are equally flattering (and in some cases, even more affordable).
