An elegant mix of structured Vera Wang gown, a ballroom draped in white, and lush florals + candlelight designed by Alexan Events makes this Colorado celebration like no other. From the Bride and Groom . . . Even before we officially began planning our wedding, we knew one thing. We wanted to get married in the mountains in Colorado. We visited several locations but eventually decided on the first place we had been: The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon. We couldn't pick one reason for our decision; everything just felt right there. With Beaver Creek Mountain and the Eagle River providing the background for our ceremony, everything was perfect on our wedding day. The decor was beautiful, reflecting the blend of elegant and rustic that we wanted. The speeches at the reception brought on the laughs and fun, which kept going as our guests took the dance floor and remained well into the night. Our wedding planner Alexan Events made sure that we had no day-of worries. They coordinated vendors and with the venue, and made sure the guests were in the right places at the right times. Brett, our photographer, beautifully captured both the big and quiet moments of the day.
