These Photos Prove Every Wedding Deserves a #BrideHive

Beyoncé and Solange Knowles fans who are about to get married, take note! This bridal party just delivered a series of epic photos that have got parts of the Internet buzzing. Virginia State University Alums Shaquana Williams and Andrew Robotham tied the knot on Sept. 2, and Williams gathered her team of bridesmaids, aka the #bridehive (likely a play on the term for the Beyoncé #beyhive, definitely a custom bridal and bridesmaid apparel brand) to slay in some seriously fierce photos. The pictures, taken by Petronella Lugemwa, who specializes in multicultural wedding photo shoots, show the bride and her white-clad wedding party posed in a way that harkens to the Vanessa Beecroft-inspired snaps from Solange’s nuptials.

And if you thought the wedding photos were dope, wait ’til you see the swimsuits the bridal party wore for the bachelorette festivities: custom black one-pieces with “bridehive” written in gold — and a white swimsuit reading simply “bride” for the then bride-to-be.

All in all, we think Beyoncé, Solange, and the entire Knowles-Carter crew would love these wedding photos as much as we do. Slay, bridehive, slay!
