But before you go running for the painkillers, know that there are some all-natural ways to rid yourself of a nasty hangover. Vicky Vlachonis, osteopath, pain expert, and author of The Body Doesn’t Lie, suggests drinking a spoonful of olive oil followed by water with lemon. Olive oil contains a compound called oleocanthal, which can act as a natural ibuprofen, while water hydrates and lemon is a source of vitamins.
