This New Theory Says Bran Played a Much Larger Role in the Battle of King's Landing
Fans already think Bran Stark is fully evil on Game of Thrones, and now there's even more proof.
A new theory speculates that Daenerys didn't destroy King's Landing: Bran did thanks to warging into Drogon.
Hello and welcome to the hill I am going to die on: Bran Stark is evil. I've already ranted about this indisputable fact right over here, and I'm happy to report that Game of Thrones' penultimate episode contained even more proof that Bran is fully plotting everyone's demise. But before we get to that, here's a quick BRAN IS EVIL recap:
A) Just generally speaking, Bran is highly suspect. He's never given anyone a sufficient explanation about what he's up to, and furthermore, his explanation for the Night King's ultimate plan seemed like a total lie. On top of that, Bran didn't bother informing anyone that Euron were planning to ambush Dany as she approached King's Landing. For someone that "sees everything," holding this back felt more than unhelpful. It felt intentional.
B) Bran's behavior around the Night King's death was, and I can't stress this enough, f*cked up. We never found out what he was doing when he warged into those ravens, and I think he was actually trying to lure the Night King right to him so they could have a moment alone to be evil and sinister together. Just saying, the look on Bran's face when Arya killed the Night King? Not thrilled.

Which brings us to Sunday's episode! A Game of Thrones fan is out here with an interesting addition to the Bran Is Evil Theory, and it all has to do with the behavior of Dany's dragon Drogon as he burned down King's Landing. In a nut shell, the theory speculates that Bran warged into Drogon, and was actually the person responsible for murdering everyone. And there's compelling proof!
The theory states that after hearing the bells and making that "I'm about to f*ck sh*t up" face, Dany actually intended to burn down just the Red Keep and kill Cersei. As the theorist points out, "Dany's eyes are LOCKED onto the Red Keep when she takes off and she's beelining it for it for quite a while."
Until, that is, the camera shows us Drogon's shadow-an almost identical shot to Bran's vision from an earlier season.
"It's only after we see the identical scene of Bran's vision from an earlier season of Drogon's shadow flying over King's Landing that Drogon changes directions and starts lighting everyone up."
Interestingly, we don't see another close-up of Dany's face after that moment-meaning for all we know she was confused about why Drogon changed course and started burning down King's Landing. In other words, maybe Dany isn't the Mad Queen after all. Maybe Bran is just E-V-I-L.
