WATCH: These Adventure Film Winners Will Make You Want to Travel
In order to celebrate the role that creative storytelling plays in motivating travelers to pack their bags and seek adventure, the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) teamed up with Yahoo Travel and Wilderness Ireland to launch the film contest, Adventure in Motion with Yahoo Travel.
The competition debuted at the 2014 Adventure Travel World Summit, in Ireland. Nearly 150 short films were submitted, and delegates of the Summit voted on October 9th for the film they viewed as most to inspire travelers.

The first-place winner, “Pride of Namibia” was created for the World Wildlife Fund. Namibia enshrined conservation into its constitution and its communities are now telling the story of their commitment to protect and live with wildlife. “The only thing that can inspire and energize the soul more than the art of travel is the art of film,” said WWF filmmaker Andy Maser.

The second-place winner, “Reconsider South Africa” is the New South African Tourism brand video. It’ll make you reconsider what you think you know about South Africa.
