Unless I am having naked-baked yams for dinner, you can bet this is gonna be on my plate. Sometimes I have both. Always with tahini.
2 large yams
2 large sweet potatoes
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp (2 g) dried basil
½ cup (20 g) fresh basil
¼ cup (56 g) tahini
Preheat your oven to 375°F (191°C). Wash, scrub and then slice the yams and sweet potatoes into fries. Coat with the garlic powder, apple cider vinegar and dried basil then bake for 30 minutes or until they are tender all the way through (try one to find out).
Serve with fresh basil and drizzle in tahini. Nirvana.
