The Kardashian-Jenner Women—“America’s First Family”— Covers Cosmopolitan

For 50 years, Cosmopolitan has been dishing out sex tips, preaching feminist ideas, and providing birth control tips. And to celebrate the magazine’s half a century in circulation, the Kardashian-Jenner women were chosen to grace its November cover.

“America’s First Family” — not to be confused with the actual first family, the Obamas — is pictured together wearing just white button down shirts from Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein, paired with black Jimmy Choo heels. This is the first time since 2011 that the ladies (minus Caitlyn Jenner) have all been in a photoshoot together.

“No one could have predicted the Kardashians’ and Jenners’ success,” Ryan Seacrest, the man responsible for their fame, told Cosmo. “But when you spend time with them, what resonates is the family unit. There are so many things about them that are glamorous, crazy, and unlike our lives, but the sense of family is universal. They love and stand by one another no matter what.” He added, “Their unvarnished candor reveals how close they really are. What’s more, they present acceptance. You look at Bruce and now Caitlyn — you see the power of a family to come together when it would be so easy to fall apart. There’s comfort in viewing that steadfastness of love."

All six cover stars shared the image on social media on Sunday night. Kris is “so honored,” Kourtney said the shoot was “so fun,” Kim and Khloe are both “so excited,” Kendall’s “so thrilled,” and Kylie can’t believe at 18 she’s already on her “second Cosmo cover??!!”
