I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but baby carrots are actually full-sized, regular carrots that have been cut. Yes, you read that right. Baby carrots are not grown naturally – they are faaakkkkeeee.
Here is the typical life of a baby carrot.
So first, the full-sized carrots are pulled from the ground. But they look so small!
Then they’re cleaned. Are those witch fingers??
Look, still full-sized carrots. Life is a lieeee.
And now they’re chopped into two inch pieces. What is this shit?
Omg, and now they shave them even smaller. ARE THOSE CHEETOS?!
Time for the baby carrot quality inspection test. I guess not all baby carrots are created equal, but they are all liars.
And now the faaakkkkeeee baby carrots are sorted. Ugh.
And bagged. Liiiarrrrrrs.
And now these baby carrots will be shipped to grocery stores nationwide, where they will fool innocent shoppers into believing that they are actually baby carrots. That shit is messed up, man.
