The CFDA Is Planning Something with the NFL for Super Bowl 50, but Won’t Tell Anyone What It Is

Hey, folks – do you like the Super Bowl? Do you also like fashion? Then the CFDA and the NFL would like for you to get excited about a top-secret collaboration they can’t actually tell you about right now, but will apparently be awesome.

The CFDA has already teamed up with the NFL for previous Super Bowl-themed collaborations. In 2014, they released a collection of football helmets with Bloomingdale’s, decorated by a smattering of designers. This year’s range should be particularly special since it’s a milestone Superbowl 50 – not that you would know it since it’s being kept under wraps. According to WWD, a rep from the CFDA says they’ve rounded up a bunch of as yet unnamed designers who created “some really great stuff” for the collection. How revealing. How descriptive.

While we don’t know what to expect, we think it’s safe to say that the collaboration will probably yield stylish team gear, which for someone who loves football as much as they do fashion sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
