As another year ends, we often take the time to seriously look back and make resolutions to be a better person in the year ahead. Who are we kidding? Dec. 31 is all about seriously partying and starting off the New Year with a bang! No matter where you are in the world, there are some crazy-awesome (and pricey) packages for ringing in 2015. If you can cough up the cash, then you get an all-inclusive weekend, during which you and five of your friends get round-trip air travel via a private jet, a red-carpet arrival, three nights in the penthouse suite with butler service, private New Year’s Eve dinner, and $5,000 bottle service at one of Miami’s famous nightclubs. You even get to nurse your hangover luxuriously in a private cabana that includes a personal bartender and DJ on New Year’s day.

New Year’s is a time for partying but also a time when we make resolutions to not party as much. If weight loss is on your list for 2015, then skip the booze and bars and head to The Ranch at Live Oak/Malibu. This weeklong, no-options, fitness and wellness program for $6,500 is designed to recalibrate the mind and body through intensive physical activity, and a highly structured nutrient dense diet of organic, plant-based meals. You’ll want to Facebook, tweet and Instagram as the world’s tallest observation wheel is stagnant during a portion of the New Year’s Eve fireworks show for the first time ever. Starting at $2,500, packages include the viewing from 550 feet above the Strip, a premium bar and personal escort.
Rio de Janerio, Brazil

Since it’s summer in Rio de Janerio, many New Year’s revelers take to the streets. But the center of the action is always at the classic Pestana Copacabana Hotel, and the RealWorld travel agency carefully crafted a package to be in the middle of it all. For $8,400 you get a four-night stay at the beachfront hotel, private tours of Mount Corcovado and the Tijuca National Park, and a helicopter flight over Rio. On the actual night you can get dolled up for the hotel’s famous masked ball, where the food, drinks, and view of the fireworks display is included in the price tag.

Large crowds and New Year’s Eve are synonymous, so for a smaller (yet elegant) soiree. head to the Relais & Chateaux property, Castle Hill Inn. They’re hosting a James Bond-inspired party in honor of the 50th anniversary of Goldfinger. Guests will enjoy a two-night stay, dancing classes for the celebration, a movie screening, and, of course, dinner, complete with a champagne toast, to welcome 2015. Rates start at $700 a night, and tickets to the party start at $105 for the first seating.

Quickly becoming home to some of the best parties in the world, Dubai is living up to its reputation by hosting a variety of over-the-top parties. The Oberoi, Dubai is allowing groups of up to 35 guests to attend a private viewing on the 26th floor, where drinks will be served throughout the night and there will be a clear view of the fireworks show from Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. You get all of this, plus a personalized menu and entertainment for $7,800.
