I Tested Gymshark's Elevate Collection—It's More Than Just Weightlifting Wear

Gymshark is a flourishing brand in the fitness apparel industry, widely known for its functional and flattering activewear. The brand has over eight unique collections, the most popular being its seamless line, which features one of the best black leggings on the market.

You may think Gymshark apparel is only for weightlifters, marathoners, or athletes. But if you’re anything like me and prefer low-impact exercise—like Pilates, hot yoga, and walking—you’re in luck.

The brand recently launched its new Elevate Collection for barre, brunch, and busy lifestyles. I tested a few pieces from the line and was pleasantly surprised by their comfy and compressive feel, flattering and functional fit, and relatively budget-friendly price (especially if you shop the sale).

Designed to elevate your everyday movements, whether it’s a workout or working from home, Gymshark’s Elevate collection provides a seamless, second-skin feel. The pieces are made from the brand's RLSE fabric (a blend of recycled nylon and elastane), which moves with you while providing enough support. I also love how lightweight and sweat-wicking the material feels—keeping me comfortable and focused through a full 75-minute hot vinyasa flow.

Items from the Elevate Collection come in various pretty pastel colors and patterns that can be mixed and matched. They’re also available in sizes ranging from Women’s XS-XXL. I tested the Elevate Longline Sports Bra, ¾ Sleeve Crop Top, and Leggings and found they all fit true to size.

But not only are the pieces functional, they’re flattering and stylish, too. Each is perfect for studio-to-street wear: I wore the entire set (sports bra, crop top, and leggings) straight from yoga teacher training to a casual brunch with friends.
