Tessa Thompson Shines in a Molten Armani Cutout Gown

Tessa Thompson gave us another stunning red-carpet moment this week.

For the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder at Hollywood's El Capitan Theater Thursday night, the actress chose a sleek look evoking the Marvel franchise's galactic themes. She wore a custom Armani Privé column gown, made of reflective blue-gray fabric that looked like molten metal shining against the lights and camera flashes. The strapless piece also included an asymmetrical cutout at the waist with a slight sculptural detail at the hip.

The Passing actor paired the gown with black platform heels. She wore her hair slicked back and accessorized the look with an array of jewelry from brands including Graziela Gems, Effy, EF Collection, and Sara Weinstock jewelry, as well as a statement arm cuff above her elbow.

The metallic Armani look was Thompson's second on-theme red-carpet appearance this week, following Tuesday night's Season 4 premiere of Westworld. The star channelled the HBO hit's futuristic aesthetic in an iridescent nude gown from Interior. The piece, named The Callisto Gown, is made of crinkled sheer silk metal, featuring flared sleeves, and an open back held together by black velvet panne ribbons.

The star completed the outfit with nude Gianvito Rossi heels and the Pétale de Perle ring from Reza. Her beauty look for the evening included a sultry smoky eye, a dark sharply-lined lip, and a curly hairstyle with a low ponytail and finger waves, with a black ribbon pulling double duty as a choker and hair tie.
