Tesla disappoints, Snap downgraded, Costco climbs

Here are the stocks we’re watching today:

Tesla (TSLA): The electric automaker announced fourth-quarter production and delivery figures that widely missed Wall Street estimates. Tesla delivered 29,870 vehicles in the fourth quarter, including 1,550 of its anticipated Model 3 sedan. Taking a look at the chart, the stock is lower today, but has been paring gains in midday trading.

Snap (SNAP): Fresh off of a reported $4 million New Year’s Eve party, Cowen downgraded the image messaging app to ‘underperform,’ citing bearish ad buyer and consumer survey results. Turning to the chart, the stock is down today, over 5% at 12pm ET.

Costco (COST): The world’s largest wholesale club retailer announced December comp sales were up a whopping 11.5%, with e-commerce sales up 33.3%. Based on that report, shares were higher in the morning, but reversed in midday trading.
