A hand mixer works great for these small desserts, so you won’t need to pull out the heavy equipment.
Store tightly wrapped leftover ladyfingers in the freezer. Or toast them, and top with ice cream and fudge sauce for a spur-of-the-moment dessert.
Toast more almonds than you’ll need for the tartlets. Store extra almonds in a plastic container in the freezer. They’re great in salads and on coffee cakes.
