This Teddy Bear Makeup Look Is The Perfect Last-Minute Costume Idea
Listen, I'm obsessed with everything Halloween, but when it comes to dressing up, I absolutely do not want to be scary. Blood? Nope. Gore? Hard pass. Sorry, I don't want to look like a character from The Walking Dead! And I know I'm not alone. Keep reading for all the tips, tricks, and products you'll need to bring this look to life.
Step 1: Shade Your Snout
To go all in on the teddy bear look, you have to make sure your snout is lighter than the rest of your face. Grab a cream concealer or contour that's a couple shades lighter than your normal skin tone and use it to cover the lower half of your face.
Step 2: Create Contrast
Using a foundation brush, apply a cream contour that's a couple shades darker than your skin tone to the top half of your face. The contrast makes it look like your mouth area is protruding from your face—just like a real bear.
Step 3: Paint Your Bear Nose
Get a cute lil bear snout and fill in the tip of your nose with black face paint (tbh, black eyeliner works in a pinch).
